The purpose of the Christian Formation Ministry is to oversee, coordinate and plan for Christian Education for all ages. Included in this is the organization of Sunday School for children and adults and the recruitment and training of teachers. The goal is to provide the opportunity for all in the Parish to learn the biblical principles and lessons necessary for a Christian Life.

WORSHIP AND ALTAR GUILD
WORSHIP AND ALTAR GUILD
The purpose of the Worship and Altar Guild Ministry is to help the Parish in the worship of the Lord. This is accomplished through and in conjunction with the Rector in the preparation and review of worship services, the recruitment and training of lay worship assistants, along with acolytes, chalicists, lay readers, ushers, lectors and altar guild participants. This also includes maintenance of all books and other materials used in worship services and maintaining all appointments related to conducting services by preparing the chapel for services during the church calendar year.

OUTREACH MINISTRY
OUTREACH MINISTRY
Our parishioners are involved in many areas of outreach to those in need in our community. We coordinate and provide volunteers for The Thurmont Food Bank as we work with other churches and organizations to provide food to hundreds of families each month. We provide school supplies and Christmas gifts, lunches for children in the summer and clothing for people in the winter.

The purpose of this Ministry is to organize the Parish's efforts to present Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Power, in such a way that persons may be led to believe in Him as Savior and follow Him as Lord within the fellowship of His Church. This will be accomplished through education and training of the Parish and through cooperation with other churches in the community, the Diocese of Maryland, the National Episcopal Church and other organizations.

STEWARDSHIP MINISTRY
STEWARDSHIP MINISTRY
STEWARDSHIP MINISTRY - The Purpose of the Stewardship Ministry is three-fold. It includes the Finance, Building and Grounds and Planning for the Future of the Church.
BUILDING AND GROUNDS MINISTRY - to provide such oversight as needed to properly maintain, repair or make improvements as needed to the Parish property. The goals are to be proper stewards of the parish property and provide comfortable and well-functioning buildings for worship and social activities.
PLANNING THE FUTURE OF THE CHURCH MINISTRY - The purpose of this ministry is to plan and discuss what the Parish is doing well and where we need to improve going forward. The discussions brought to light three areas of importance to the Parish. These areas are Communications, Worship, and Christian Formation.
